Instrumental Learning Autobiography

321 Words2 Pages
My first love for a year when I was five was piano, but then my mother made practicing a chore. My second love for three years when I was eight was flute, but then my band teacher let me try clarinet. My third love going on for seven faithful years is clarinet. Music is my passion and an active part in my life that ranges from private lessons to Ohio Music Education Association competitions. The eleven years of instrumental music and the seven years of being a part of my school’s band program have meticulously shaped me into the person that I am today. Today, I am a well rounded student that loves to learn, aid others, compromise disputes, and work hard. Through my instrumental learning I have learned that hard work pays off only with perseverance.
