By me starting an Interior Design business would need to purchase limited liability Insurance. Limited liability insurance means that limited partners are not responsible for the debts of the business beyond the amounts of their investment, and their personal items are not at risk (McGraw-Hill, 2011). In order to open an Interior Design Business, I would have to pay $720 to take a qualifying exam, given by National Council for Interior design qualification. Passing out your business card, brochures, or any type of advertisement is part of marketing. Services that we offer are painting (choosing the color theme), find the style and type of furniture, and coordinate the colors for the drapes, curtains, and art pieces. The product samples, brochures, catalogs, trays, and mirrors prices cost anywhere from $100 to $200 each. Marketing competition is always on the table, using our mission statement on my advertisement; it would draw clients to the company. Also, posting a picture of one of our models on the advertisement, general information should be on there too. Hopefully, if a great turn out we can go into global marketing. After accepting the loan and doing my advertisement I remain with 14,000. $1,000 would go to the employees that I plan to hire to help with marketing. If the business is profitable the potential earnings for an establishment like this one are $30,000 or better.
