Sam has agreed to undergo this clinical interview as and educational learning opportunity. Sam is a freshman attending Chatham University. He is a double major, studying Chemistry and Biology. Sam has career aspirations of earning a Medical Doctorate (MD) and Doctorate of Philosophy Ph.D. in Public Health from one of the Historically Black College and Universities (HBCU).
The agency I did my interview at is called Safe Alternatives For Everyone(SAFE). On the morning of Friday April 28th, I took a tour of the facility and conducted the interview at 28910 Pujol St Temecula, CA. (951) 587-3900. The funny thing is this facility is located on the street that I would take my dog for a walk and I would always see the facility, but I wasn’t curious as to what that building was about.
Jerri was proudly nominated by Professor Jeff Blake, who has been a mentor to her during her time at NAU. Professor Blake said, "Jerri is an excellent student with a very positive attitude." After completing the summer term, Jerri will graduate with her Bachelor of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Management. Jerri lives a busy life. In addition to taking two to three courses per semester, she also juggles her family life, and her many hobbies.
I interviewed holly who is a small animal veterinarian that works in Mankato, Minnesota. The clinic is a medium sized with two full time vets and two, soon to be 3, part time vets. Most of the vets have lots of field experience in a clinic with them graduating from 2010 to 1997. Holly is the most recently added Veterinarian and has been working there for two and a half years. Her schooling first started with an AA degree at a community college and then went to a 4 year with another four years in vet school.
We were in Palm Spring on the weekend of November 21 for the swim meet. For my Ethnographic Project, I decided to interview one of my daughter’s swim friend’s mom and my friend, Linyun. We talked about it before and the meet was the best place for this interview. She is approximately 45 years old lady, married with an Indian-American guy. Her back round of culture is Chinese and she is from Taiwan.

Leah was referred to Andover and Subacute Rehab Center by her previous residency. Her family was unable to prevent her from begging in the community and abusing heroin. The agencies’ role is to restore its residents to their maximum potential.
From my family, my parents, my sister and a few uncles are undocumented. The majority of my uncles got lucky when they came to the U.S. because when they came around the late or early 1980s they were granted residency. On the other hand, if my dad would have come earlier maybe he would have become a citizen as well. My dad came to the U.S. earlier than my mother and sister. When he got help and collected the money to crossed the border, all my uncles lived in the same apartment at South Gate.
Introduction Motivational interviewing is a collaborative, person-centred form of communication which focuses on the language of change. ‘It is designed to strengthen personal motivation for and commitment to a specific goal by eliciting and exploring the person’s own reasons for change within an atmosphere of acceptance and compassion’ (Miller et al., 2013, p.29). The technique of motivational interviewing was developed by two psychologists, Bill Miller and Steve Rollnick. Motivational interviewing is therapeutic to patients as it is based on a partnership, rather than a nurse-patient relationship (Heckman et al., 2010). There are four processes of motivational interviewing; engaging, focusing, evoking and planning.

Introduction The interview was conducted on Saturday, 5th of August 2017, at 4 pm. This interview session lasted about 30 minutes. My interviewee is a 56 years old Malay male, Mr. Hady (pseudonym). Reflection on mock interview On Friday 1st December 2017 I had a mock interview at university. This was organised by the university in order to help prepare the students for placement interviews. I was however quite nervous before my mock interview. The reason for this is this was my first ever interview in the accounting & finance sector. In addition to this I am quite introverted and have never enjoyed talking about myself.
Before interning with DFCS I would not have described myself as someone lacking confidence, rather someone who just needed to realize their full potential. Interning with DFCS brought that out in me. At first I was very scared and nervous because I did not want to do something wrong or mess up, but as the weeks went by my confidence grew tremendously. Through the weeks and months interning at DFCS it also became clear that my supervisors trusted me more. The confidence they had in me boosted my confidence in that I knew that if they thought I could handle something that I could handle it.
Having the chance to experience this Mock Job Interview open my eyes up to a lot of things. Being a Roanoke Valley Early College these are some of the great opportunities that you will receive. In class we took notes on how to properly do an interview from the day that you will walk in the door until the moment you walk out. We learned the expectations on how to properly groom, dressing, sit in the chair, answering questions with length, grammar, eye contact, firm handshake, making resumes and thank you letters.
