Into The Wild, By Chris Mccandless

175 Words1 Pages
Into the Wild was not the best book I have read, but the best story I have heard. Chris McCandless became “Alexander Supertramp” on his adventure to find himself in the primitive world without material possessions. His eagerness to get back to the wild and be one with the earth was an inspiration to me. Chris hated that he lived in a world where people would hand him things without him having to work for them. He also hated that the amount of money one had and their place in society was important to the people around him. Chris was afraid of the materialistic world and what is would become as time went on and he chose to escape. He had adventured across the states, meeting other people like himself, and finding a new world and a new earth.
