In the novel, Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, there are multiple events happening. Chris shows many emotions throughout this novel. Chris has a great future ahead of him. He was a smart man and came from a good family, but he did not get along with them. He loved doing things on his own. Eventually, he starts to open up and talk to others. Chapters five through seven show and talk about the different qualities Chris has. He struggles with the yearning for companionship and belongings. He also struggles with the pursuit of independence and working with others all in one. McCandless's journey reflects the inherent human need for companionship and belonging, juxtaposed against his relentless desire for independence and self-reliance. Nature is something that Chris really enjoys. He finds things through nature that can allow him to connect with nature (Krakauer et al. 43). The syllable of the syllable.
