I have always contemplated whether drug addiction is a disease or a choice? This topic has been very controversial and has brought many debates. A lot of researches have taken a stand that being a drug addict is completely a disease and it only be cured by seeking a medical treatment. However, some researchers that believe drug addiction is a choice. This is controversial topic there will be both news articles and academic journal articles, however, most of my sources will come from the academic journals since they have a specific focus and more in-depth. Even though the title of the article seems like its biased, the articles presents all sides of the argument really well and goes into depth.
