Everyday millions of people across the globe use the internet; many never even leave the computer desk. In the article, “Is Google Making Us Stupid” the author Nicholas Carr, brings up the point that our brains are losing their attention span. He explained that many, including himself, are finding it harder to read long groups of text and articles. Though Carr brings up a good point, his argument lacked factual information, was a little dull, contained next to no credible sources, and is all over the board with he’s ideas, all of these things made his argument weak. To further explain what Carr means in this quote is that he does not expect us to completely abandon the internet but he believes that we are becoming way too overly dependent on the internet. His quotes describes how the issue is that we are in an where we are just relying so much on the internet when we would be benefitted so much more by seeking information and analysis traditionally found in books. Another quote that further emphasizes how the internet is causing us to become more shallow is state by Carr; “What the Net seems to be doing is chipping away my capacity for concentration and contemplation.
Instead the readers are receiving information all about cons of using internet. Also, for instances, Carr failed to provide the reality of today’s internet

His opinion was that the internet is easy to access for quick answers. Carr findings strongly backs up his opinions. His facts are all backed up with research, and experiments done by mostly universities and scientists.
