In William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, Lord Capulet is at fault for the death of the two teens. Had the Capulet not been so controlling, Juliet would not have gone against him. He could have also prevented the teens meeting had he told Tybalt to kick Romeo out instead of being curious as to what Romeo was going to do at the party. Due to the feuds between the two families, Lord Capulet did not stop Romeo and Juliet from being together and they would have rather died than be apart from each other as seen in Act 3. Lord Capulet was not thinking about how they felt, only how he felt, for example he was too worried about his reputation and not his daughter's happiness.
