The book Where The Fern Grows was written in 1961 and the movie first came out in 1974. The book was written by Wilson Rawls. The movie was directed by Norman Tokarr. If you've ever watched the movie you could tell that it was made a long time ago. If you haven't seen or read Where the Red Fern Grows you might not know that it is one of the saddest books/movies you might ever see.
The Jungle written by Upton Sinclair and Cinderella Man a movie directed by Ron Howard has more in common than most people would think. The Jungle is a book about how the meat industry is run and how workers are treated. Cinderella Man is a movie about James Braddock who tries to box to help his family to live an easier life. The main characters have all most have the same ups and downs but at the same time have different ones too. James Braddock and Jurgis Rudkus have many differences at the same time having similarities in physical appearance, emotion, and relationships though out their lives.
Gone with the Wind, was a movie based on a book by Margret Michells. Other popular movies were the Wizard of Oz, King Kong, and Snow White. When the radio came out, programs like the Lone Ranger and Little Orphan Annie were loved by people of all ages. Lone Ranger started out with “High ho Silver away!” Annie was about a little girl who had a dog named Sandy.
This film teaches a very special lesson that should be taken upon yourselves daily. It is filled with heart, forgiveness, sincere, and of course happiness!!! The story has been told to every little child in every little home. There are movies, plays, scripts, and much more that have been based on this story. Yet each one differs in their own little way.
Disney Rolemodels Mulan is a movie produced by Walt Disney. It came out in 1988. The Movie is based on a girl named Mulan, the only child of her honored family. When the Huns invade China, they want one man from every family. Mulan 's father, who has an old injury and cannot walk properly, decides to fight for his country and the honor of his family.

Going to the universities’ library earlier this month to rent three films, - 500 days of Summer, Annie Hall and High Fidelity- was the first step to my critical writing and analysing process. I spent some time at home, to watch these three completely different movies. Although there is one theme that captures the common motif in these three movies, the theme Romance. The standard model suggests that a film wherein the plot revolves around the love feelings and love between two protagonists can be defined as a romance film. It is a well-known fact that love makes people do strange things, Shakespeare himself even said: “Love makes blind”.

The Lion King is an illustrious 1994 Disney movie. The movie begins with the celebration of Simba’s birth. Simba is the son of King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi. Scar, Simba’s evil and jealous uncle, kills Mufasa by letting Mufasa fall off of a cliff during a stampede. Simba runs away, thinking it was his fault for his father’s death.
