Is this generation really more informed? That is one of the many questions that relate to the argument of our generation’s actual Knowledge of what’s going on around the world. Some Individuals believe that this Generation isn’t Interested in what the news has to offer, and That we rely on social media to give us information. The other majority of the general public strongly conclude that Millennials do have the advantage to obtain information, but they don’t necessarily gain any in-sight from the specific topic. This leaves us wondering, Which argument is accurately Factual? We millennials, In my belief, are more informed than past Generations, we just don’t know how to properly make use of our sources. In other Individual’s perspective, It doesn’t necessarily matter what we focus on, or what we have interest in , but the main point is that we do have more sources and we are more informed No matter what the Conflict is about. To support this,”Decades ago, all the news of the day had to fit into a newspaper.” (Paragraph 17) This quote supports the argument, because this quote tells us that back in the day, many people got their information out of the newspaper, which didn’t give much information because other issues had to be talked about in the same pieces of paper. Adding to that, Decades ago people didn’t have much to learn about, because they’re wasn’t that much crime, or gossip about celebrities, or any other topics, which means the only thing they would focus one thing. In conclusion, it is practically impossible to keep up to date about everything that is going on, so that’s why most people only focus on what they have interest in, and not on everything else
