Have you ever wondered who discovered gravity? Or how the planets float in outer space? Well, we can give most of that credit to Sir Isaac Newton. Isaac Newton was an English Scientist, astronomer, and mathematician. Newton was one of the many who contributed to history during the Renaissance, a period of great art, architecture, and scientific discoveries. The following information will show that even throughout Newton's childhood he always seemed to have a love for science and math, as well as show all of his discoveries that contributed to science and math. He took great interest in Galileo and this resource contributed to his finds of gravity and motion later on in his career. Newton got influenced by Galileo on his laws of motion which Galileo had originally made. Galileo made the first laws of motion and Newton added more. While he was in university, Newton’s university continued being the stronghold of Aristotelianism. Aristotelianism rested on the geocentric view of the universe, which Newton seemed to enjoy. To give himself a higher education, Newton started taking interest in Aristotle's work. Newton definitely used Aristotle's work as influence for some of his own. Aristotle's work kept Newton’s mind fresh and filled with written information. Newton started studying motion, but kept all of his thoughts in his notebook. Now when it comes to him influencing other people, Newton seemed to influence other students with his smarts, and may have started getting some other students interested in science and math as much as he was. Later on according to some sources, Newton influenced many other scientists with his theories. We can give some credit to Galileo and Aristotle for some of Newton's amazing discoveries!
