Isaac Newton, it goes without saying you probably know exactly who he is and what he has done for science. He is so noteworthy of a scientist that even if you do not know what he did, you still know his name from somewhere. He is a man associated with plenty of fields of areas such as science and mathematics, which would have to be two of his most associated fields of study that has made him so famous. From his early life and up until his death he has easily become one of the most famous scientists of all time. He should win the scientist of the year award for the following reasons: his early years before his works, his years of famous works and what they are and his great achievements, alliances with many other big name scientists, how his work still influences to this day, and finally later scientists whom he influenced that became big names in their fields of study. Throughout history, one’s life can be criticized or embraced by those who are educated about that person’s life and what it took for them to get there. However most sources would say that he was born on Christmas day 1642 because during that time they were using the old Julien calendar, which is why most sources believe that he was born then, however, he was born January 4, 1643 in Woolsthorpe, Lincolnshire, England. He was the only son to a farmer who was also named Isaac Newton. His father had passed away three months before he was even born, so he never got to know his father from a personal standpoint.
