Calculus is often regarded as Newton’s greatest mathematical achievement, Calculus is the finding and properties of derivatives and integrals of functions. Isaac Newton developed calculus to help him explain the motion of planets. Since Newton did not address his ideas to the public it gave other scientists and mathematicians to develop similar ideas. Newton was doubted that he created Calculus, Gottfried Wilhelm von Leibniz claimed that he created Calculus before Newton.
