Isaiah Isaiah was reared, in the 8th century BC. , at the time of the Assyrian crisis. It is believed, that Isaiah was called, to be a prophet in 740 BC. and ended, in 686 BC. The prophet ministry consist of counseling families, he gave guidance to the whole nation. During disasters the prophet brought the nation to the understanding of the covenant and the purpose of the future which consist on the issues of the exile and to be restored. In Isaiah 40: 1-11, God will help the Jews to rebuild, and restore their land. The prophet Isaiah, gave the people hope after the destruction in Jerusalem. The Jews, social, economy and political issues were renewed. Their future relies, on God, thus, He gave the Jews and Gentiles a new title and lifestyle.
