Their is a quote from J. R. R. Tolkien and it said “It’s dangerous business going out your front door.” and in this essay that quote will be further explained and deepen the meaning behind it. When J. R. R. Tolkien said this it was in the Lord of the rings and the true meaning behind the quote is that once you step out your front door you never know were you will go. You could go off on an adventure, like Frodo in the Lord of the rings trilogy. Or you could end up in a place you never thought you would be. R. R. Tolkien is the writer of this famous quote and this quote could be taken many ways and some might not be accurate. Like all of these news stations. All of these news stations say a different headline for the Kentucky school shooting. Like “1 Killed, 7 taken too the hospitals after kentucky school shooting” or “Kentucky school shooting: 2 dead after attack at Marshall County High School” and “Kentucky school shooting leaves at least one dead and multiple wounded, officials say”. All these news companies have a different headline because they only look at 2 things. 1) What would make their company look good. And 2) They only look at one point of view. The have certain viewers and too keep them the have too feed them a story that will satisfy them. Even if it meant not telling the truth. So when you get a different point of view on a subject don’t think it’s wrong even though all of the headlines say something different. And if someone takes one of J. R. R. Tolkien’s quote a different way than you did, just think of how the got too think of why the took that quote the way the did.
