It is a common knowledge that the African Americans are discriminated in the America, however, there are always many fighters who did not afraid of destiny, they dare to fight with destiny, they do not think they are inferior people, even they thought they can better than whites, Jackie Robinson was the member of them. Jackie Robinson was a excellent baseball player, he was the first African American who play baseball in the major league, as a black player, he suffered innumerably discriminate and curse, but he did not flinch, and he succeed, he became the best baseball player in the major league, he better than all of white players, after he retired, he was selected in the national Baseball Hall of Fame and became the first black player in the national Baseball Hall of Fame. …show more content…

In 1945, Jackie Robinson was signed by Brooklyn Dodge (a Baseball team in the major league) and then, he entered the major league formally. In 1947, Jackie Robinson wears his first uniform from Dodge with NO.42, and play as a first start baseman. The first season he plays in the league, he gets the best rookie, in 1949, he gets the MVP of that season, and defeat the New York Yankees won the world champion. Because of when Robinson enter the major league, he is already 28 years old, as a result, he just play for 9 years in the league, and retired in 1956, however, shorter career cannot effect he became a great player, he leave many excellent data to prove how great he was.
