The Death of Doodle The allegory The Scarlet Ibis by James Huster is about 2 brothers., you should know That 1 brother is named doodle and he’s not that strong and his other brother is pushing him to hard he is the oldest and he does not like his brother (Hurst). In my opinion, I think that he’s not a good brother and is selfish.Furthermore, i think his brother killed doodle he did nothing for him when he called for help. (Hurst). Therefore his brother is not a real brother and at the end did not help him at the end of the story I believe it teaches the lesson that too much pride is bad because it can get in the away of your family and it’s not good for people that know you.
