The book Schooled is written by Gordon Korman. The main character is capricorn Anderson. It takes place at a school by the name of Claverage school (Or as they call it C-Average). It also takes place at Garland Farms Commune where Cap lives. Caps grandma Rain gets hurt and Cap has to go to school.
I read the book called the Wednesday wars by Gary D. Schmidt. The book is about a boy named Holling Hoodhood who is in seventh grade and his teacher, Mrs. Baker. The story takes place mainly in school or at Holling’s home. The first main event is when Holling finds out he is the only one that doesn't leave school early on Wednesdays because of Hebrew school or catechism. Also, when Holling let the rats go, it caused a lot of trouble through the story.
The book that I read is called LockDown By Walter Dean Myers. Walter Dean Myers is known for writing fiction,nonfiction, and poetry books for young adults and children. He is a New York Times bestselling author and the winner of the first Michael L. Printz Award. He lives in Jersey City, New Jersey, with his family.

It may seem that it was a blunder but in fact in caused a great deal of dispute within Australia with how the Australian characters were portrayed. The

Lost in The Sun Lost in The Sun by Lisa Graff is a book about Trent Zimmerman, a kid who just started middle school and declares it will be better than the 5th grade. 5th grade was rough, he accidentally killed a kid. Jared Richards was born with a birth defect in his heart. The boys were playing hockey one day, and when the puck shot him in the heart, he died. Middle school was a “fresh start” for Trent.

“Don’t Call Me Ishmael”, written by Michael Gerard Bauer is a humorous novel that interacts with the readers especially young readers by exploring what high school is like for those who are being bullied and harassed but it also explores different stages of how friendships first develops. The protagonist who is a 9th grader named Ishmael Lesseur is sticking to the shadows and staying out of everyone’s way especially Barry Bagsley who has target Ishmael and has been harassing him since first day of year 8 at St Daniels Boys Collage. Throughout the book Ishmael struggles with identifying who he is and what he is worth. Michael Gerard Bauer has added sarcasm, irony, puns, embarrassing and humorous moments in the book to keep all the readers engrossed
The book I chose to read for my book review was “ Killing Mr.Griffin”. It is about 5 high school students who hate their english teacher Mr. Griffin and come up with a plan to kidnap him. Their main purpose is to just torture and make Mr. Griffin think he is going to die. The plan takes a tragic turn and results in Mr. Griffin's death. The plan simply falls apart in a domino effect of terror and grief.
The author demonstrates the problems in the school systems when Scout enters school she is reprimanded by her teacher, Mrs. Honeycomb for reading proficiently. She is commanded to “tell [her] father not to teach [her] anymore” and stop reading outside of school. Lee’s incongruity of the situation alerts her readers to the flaws within the school system. Lee satirizes the church when Scout and Jem are taken to church by Calpurnia, their black housekeeper, when the children’s father is unavailable. At this Christian church, the children are ridiculed for being white.
One of the kids Scout, learns a valuable lesson from his actions. A lesson to be learned from this novel is to do not judge anybody from their looks or social status. Social status was not mentioned much is this novel but, still do not do it. Do not think that just because somebody has different colored skin, that they are harmful or worthless.

Generations of people live in time periods that have events that set them apart from other generations.
The ideal model of schooling for young adolescents is the middle school model. The middle school model allows for a smooth transition from elementary school to middle school. The model also takes into consideration the developmental needs of adolescents. The middle school model best fits the uniqueness of the young middle school learner.
Many people think that most American schools are satisfactory. That is far from what is actually happening. The harsh reality is that schools that are unsatisfactory do exist. In Jonathan Kozol’s “Fremont High School”, he points out the flaws of a high school located somewhere in Los Angeles. This helps shine light on differences in the quality of education in various areas of the country.
Story: Seventh grade In the story Seventh Grade by Gary Soto. I will be looking at the plot development in order to explain the story. By plot development, I say that the Exposition of the story in which it introduces the setting and characters and hints at the conflict. At the Rising action, the conflict unfolds and becomes more complicated and builds suspense.
