In My Mind
As I walk home from work, and I can’t help notice the people around me. Everyone looks so tired their shoulders are drooping, I feel like cheering them up, but all of them are stuck in their heads perhaps living better lives in their head than in real life. I know for one the life mine is, in my head am not a mere accountant. I do not sit behind a desk all day working for someone who doesn’t even know my name. Yesterday the manager walked by; he called me Jane. I would have let it slide, I actually did in real life, but Jane is the universal name for the unknown girl. Like how morgues refer to the unclaimed corpse as Jane Doe. If I was Joan I would have been okay with it, but how does Anna even come close to that!
In my mind am a traveler, I travel the world. I have been to all but two countries in all my twenty-eight years. I take photographs in all these places and am very social. I have souvenirs too, from all these places stacked up in my …show more content…

She can dance to any song or beat; she even danced for some famous musician. The little blonde has the prettiest voice; she’s going to be someone great in future. The little boy being held in the middle is a painter. He looks seven, but in my mind, he has been painting for years. His paintings have been showed in a number of exhibitions, and even at his young age, he is already rich. Am about to move to the beggar on the street when the first drop of rain hits me, then another and another and all of a sudden it’s raining heavily all around me. I look around, and everyone is running, the old lady is hobbling away quickly not as a bakery owner but as an old lady. The young man with sunglasses is just that a young man who doesn’t know what to do with his life. The little kids are just tiny vulnerable kids, the beggar just a beggar and me, am just me.
