“We must now redefine man, redefine tools, or accept chimpanzees as human.” (MiNDFOOD) Jane Goodall is truly a remarkable woman. She has changed the world with her hard work and everyone will forever be grateful for her. She has been working to protect chimpanzees for over 60 years of her life and she is still working today. Goodall deserves to be the face of the next United States Postal Service stamp because of her dedication, all of her accomplishments, and all of the changes that she has made in the world.

During the earlier years of her work, she mainly spent it in Gombe Stream National Park. She studied chimpanzees all day and she was fascinated by them. Because of movies and myths, people believed that gorillas were some terrifying animals but Dian changed that by studying them and she opened the world's eyes, now people know that gorillas are just like any other animal. If she never studied them then no one would’ve because the world has other problems, but Dian took the risk and researched them, which soon paid off, “‘At the time, no one had studied gorillas. The popular image was ferocious. King Kong, you know. Scary,’ said primatologist Tara Stoinski”. Both women accomplished big things that are both similar. They also both showed that women can be scientists or researchers and men aren’t the only ones that can do it. Jane isn’t the only person that did this and people often forget that Dian was just as important to animals as Jane is, “Both women ultimately dominated their fields, despite lacking formal scientific training in their early lives.” Dian had always loved animals and she died protecting them, she had always been very devoted to her work and she never gave up on them. Even though it was hard to try and keep gorillas thriving in the wild, Dian helped them and the world thanks her for that, “she devoted her life to them and made us aware of their existence.”But there is a reason that Jane got more famous for her work.
