Hello Tex, how are you? I've been thinking about you lately. I woke up at 2:30 in the morning and the was snoring at the foot of my bed, I turned over and Lisa was snoring. So I was just laying there and started to think about you. I started to think about all the times hanging around with you and your family. I was thinking about the time I was just a little guy and my mom was whipping me by the river with a willow, then you yelled down to my mom, from Janice’s house, to stop then she did. Then you and Elvina asked to take me to Paradise for the week and I just thought that was so cool. You bought be my first pair in Winnemucca when I was a freshman in highschool. Now, wranglers, is all I wear and I’ll never forget my first pair. You opened your house to me and let me stay with you. You taught me how to work hard. You have so much respect from your family, the people around you, and the people in the community. Everyone always has something good to say about you. You’re a good man. You and Elvina raised two great kids. Lindsey and Marcy grew up to be great adults. I know you’re proud of them and your grandchildren. I always have the upmost respect for you. You never raised a hand to me, you never chewed me out, you always talked to me in a good way. I remember going for drives in your truck and you always gave me great advice and always talked to me in good ways. I thank you for that. You’ve been a lot of things to me. My best friend, cousin, and a really good father figure. I wish I wasn’t such a hardass back then, and helped you more . I realise that now. 4th of July has always been my favorite times because you always had something for us to do whether it was watching you rope at rodeos, helping you drive to Reno or even watching you and Elvina
