Both of Odysseus and Moses are strong leaders of their followers, which they are similar. Odysseus as a strong leader because he is brave and clever. While analyzing the relationship illustrated by most father-son duos, renowned author Frank Herbert asks “What is the son but an extension of the father?” (Goodreads). Similarities are displayed throughout The Odyssey in the character development of Odysseus and his son, Telemachus, showing the son as an extension of his father. Both Odysseus and Telemachus start the epic emotionally distraught. Through several points in the epic, evidence can be seen of their courageousness, intelligence, and leadership developing at different times through different events.
I believe Odysseus and the cyclops have equal blame for what happened. I believe Odysseus is to blame for his rudeness towards the cyclops and for trespassing onto his land and taking his food. I also believe the cyclops is to blame as well for his outrageous behavior and for well, eating several of Odysseus's men in response to them trespassing. So in all honesty I can't blame one more than the other. In other words, that is why I can't say for certain who I would be cheering more for.
Odysseus’s Traits Throughout the Odyssey, the main character Odysseus goes on an epic adventure with his focus being to get home to his wife Penelope, and his son Telemachus. He faces many obstacles dealing with characters such as the Cyclopes, Poseidon, Aeolus, Athena, Helios, Calypso, Zeus, Hermes, Scylla, and Circe. He always puts himself in front of danger for them to protect them even though they all died from an unexpected turn of events soon before he returns home. When Odysseus comes home he greets his twenty year old son and straightens things out on his homeland, Ithaca.

Euripides’s play Medea consists of minor characters who spout wise and generalized statements about humanity as a whole. One of these statements, spoken by the chorus, is, “It is a strange form of anger, difficult to cure,/When two friends turn upon each other in hatred.” (pg. 17, 12-13). The claim is true about both the play—specifically the characters Medea and Jason—as well as all of humanity.
