One day, hundreds of years ago there was a birth of a new hero, a hero that could throw a 1000 pound boulder as far as the eye could see. His name was Jason. He was born to the powerful god Ares, but not his wife Aphrodite. When Bob was born Aphrodite hated him more than anything in the world. She had made many efforts to kill him. She tried to leave him stranded in the woods for wolves to eat him, but when she came to see if he was dead, Bob had strangled the wolf that tried to kill him. When that plan failed she had sent the Minotaur to kill him, but Bob was 8 at the time and he was strong enough to kill the beast by cutting off it’s head. One day Aphrodite was furious that her plans aren’t working, so she thought of a plan that she knew would work, a plan that would make him so weak that he wouldn’t even think to fight back. When he was asleep he had a dream with his father, Ares. In this dream his father gave him some advice, “My son, I heard you were going on a quest to the Stream of immortality.” Said Ares “Yes I am father.” Said Bob “Well the stream is guarded by a three headed beast known as the Hydra. When you cut off one of its heads three more will grow, although you can burn the spot where the head was and stunt the growth of three more. I will give you a sword that is sharp enough to cut through everything, a shield that can catch on fire to help you burn the heads and armor that has been crafted by Hephaestus and is impenetrable.” “Thank you father I owe you one.” When Bob woke up he was holding the sword that his father gave him and the shield and the armor were laying side by side next to him. When he gets up he puts the armor on and grabs the shield and the sword and sets off on his
