One of the many infamous people of our world is an outlaw of the wild west by the name of Jesse James well known for robbing bank, stagecoaches, and banks. Jesse was born on Jesse was born on September 5th, 1847 and died on 3 April 1882 at age 34. He was born in Kearney, Clay County, Missouri, USA. Jesse was involved in two gangs the first one was the Quantrill's Raiders and the second was the James-Younger gang.
James had a complicated family life as a child first from his mother was married three times. His first father was a pastor and left to go teach the gold miners in California about God. He sadly died from cholera and was laid in an unmarked grave …show more content…

In this gang James took part in happened during the civil this gang was destroyed during a gunfight then the gang was over. The members of this gang were forced to live out in the woods but eventually, a new gang started and this gang was the James-Younger gang. This gang robbed banks, stagecoaches, and trains but eventually stopped robbing banks because the security had gotten so tight. One time the gang tried to rob a bank in Northfield, Minnesota, most of the members were injured or captured but James was able to slip away secretly. He was murdered by some of the members of the James-Younger gang. He was sitting in a chair when he was shot in the skull and the bullet went through his skull into the wall behind him. He died instantly once he was shot and then his comrades left the house. The two members of the gang shot him because they were tempted by a reward for Jesse. They wanted Jesse dead or alive but to save the two gang members the trouble they simply shot him in the head to silence him.
