Jimmy Page is the greatest musician of all time and remains unmatched by any contemporary artist. Many people claim he isn’t as good as others but, when dealing with his epic guitar skills, Jimmy is hands down the best. He developed and led on of the best groups of all time with highly talented members. Using his guitar skills and the skills of the people that he brought in to be musicians, Jimmy is unarguably a great musician which is undoubtedly why he was inducted into the hall of fame twice. First of all, Jimmy Page created a supergroup with musicians; Robert Plant (Lead Singer), John Bonham (Drummer), and John Paul Jones (Bassist). The band was formed in 1968 when The Yardbirds, Jimmy Page’s former band, broke up. The Yardbirds were inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame as was Led Zeppelin. Although some suits have been won against Jimmy, he has won many due to the originality that he adds to the song. People say that on the songs that he lost is court, his songs only had minute differences. Although slight he made his music with those differences to improvise other music to make it better. Some songs Jimmy has plagiarized and lost in court are: Dazed and Confused, Bring it on Home, and Babe I’m Gonna Leave You. Recently Jimmy Page was brought to trial for plagiarizing one of Led Zeppelin's most popular songs, “Stairway to Heaven.” The lawsuit claimed that Jimmy plageried this song from a similar song called “Taurus” by Spirit because it had a similar starting chord pattern. Jimmy won the case and was glad he didn't have to say Spirit wrote the song.
