Background Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. was born November 20th 1942 at St. Mary 's hospital in Scranton Pennsylvania, to Catherine Eugenia and Joseph Robinette. He had four siblings. Joe Biden assumed office on January 20th 2009, he is part of the democratic party, Joe Biden represented Delaware for 36 years in the U.S. Senate before becoming the 47th and current Vice President of the United States.
One issue Joe Biden is very focused on, is abortion. Joe Biden is known as a devout christian, so on October 11th 2012, Joe Biden was posed the question on how his religion plays into his views on abortion.
