Nowadays, there are many people would think that paper books will be replaced soon by Ebooks because of the advance technology. The question is which one is better ? Ebooks or Books. However, it is just some personal opinions involved. Some people might say e-books are more accessibles, it can be read practically anywhere on anything such as phones, tablets, e-readers… However, some might say that it is just satisfying curling up with a book, the smell of the pages, the heft of the book. The answers are different. Today we will be going back to look at the history of printing. Especially in 1440 which was the time the printing press was introduced to the West in the Holy Roman Empire by Johannes Gutenberg,

It has such an intellectual impact in terms of saving and propagating knowledge of the world. Gutenberg saw an opportunity which was possible to print in a new way that would make it much less expensive. He thought it was a tremendous chance to make money for this opportunity. He has an idea about movable type, which can help us to print as many pages as we want but do not need to make a new one for each page. The only thing we need is arranging the letters, then using the device applies pressure to a print that rests on an inked surface made of movable type, thereby transferring the ink. Once the movable type came into place and it is absolutely amazing on how much the cost of producing book went down. There is the greatest chance for knowledge to be flourished.
