John Adams was born October 30, 1735 in Braintree which later turned into Quincy, Massachusetts (Adams, John). As a child his Father was a farmer, militia officer, and the first Parish.(Adams, John) Adams Graduated from Harvard in 1755.(Adams, John) He was the best scholar in his class.(Adams, John He became a leading attorney of the Massachusetts colony.(Adams, John) Later in 1764 John Adams married Abigail Smith.(Adams, John) Mrs. Adams was the best informed woman of the day.(Adams, John) In 1767 John Quincy Adams was born their first son.(Adams, John) The Boston town meeting appointed Adams to a committee to present a petition against the tax that Britain was charging.(Adams, John) Adams argued that the taxing was illegal.(Adams, John)
