Kennedy told the people listening and watching him on the day of January 20th, 1961 when delivering his Inaugural Address in Washington D.C. John Kennedy is known as one of the best public speakers in United States history, he is known around the globe for his ability to make everyone feel as if he is talking to each and every one of them personally. He spoke with such passion and confidence, which made him one of the most polarizing figures in history.

Even if he is talking to thousands of people you felt as though you knew him personally, you felt as though he cared about your life. His ability to talk to people helped him fix the situation in Cuba where Fidel Castro was going to launch an all out nuclear war. John Kennedy’s ability helped him talk Fidel Castro out of the nuclear war. Whenever the two set up a “secret meeting” in October of 1962. Another way his public speaking excellence helped him was whenever he established the Peace Corps. He could make people want to help others just by the way he spoke and how he said things. He won over his political debates with his charming personality, whenever he won the presidential debate he became the youngest and first Catholic president in United States history. In his Inaugural Address some of the things he said, if said by other presidents may have been taken wrong, or misconstrued but with John Kennedy anything he says sounds good. He was wanting to stop war, poverty, the spread of disease, among many other things. John Kennedy wanted the absolute best for our Nation. He wanted religion in schools, he wanted as little separation of church and State as there possibly was.
