At the beginning of the film, John Nash was shown attending Princeton University. He meets some new friends. However, he did not like people very much. He preferred to concentrate on his studies. In the beginning of the film, his only close friend is his roommate Charles Herman. Herman was seen as a supportive friend to Nash and always follows Nash wherever he go. After he finished Princeton, he began working at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as an analyst and a lecturer.
One day he decided to visit Princeton, there he met Herman’s niece named Marcee. Nash became close to Marcee, who is friendly and kind. Later, he got married and started working for a secret agent named William Parcher. His job was to break Russian secret codes. While working with Parcher, he started to become delusional. He felt that Russian agents are trying to kill him because he is the only one that can break the codes.
His delusion got worse. Therefore, Nash wife decided to call the psychiatry. It was then revealed that the delusion was part of the schizophrenia symptom and that his work, Charles Herman, Marcee and William Parcher are not real and it part of his …show more content…
