This case starts off with a sweet little six-year-old girl named Jonbenet Ramsey. She was born on August 6th, 1990, into a wealthy and loving home with her parents, John and Patricia Ramsey, and her sibling, Burke. While her father John had been previously married and had children with his previous wife, they weren't very involved in Jonbeneth’s life.This case quickly gained attention due to Jonbeneth’s small age, the gruesome causes of her death, and the amount of wealth attracted to the family. Things took a turn for the worse when she was found dead in the basement of the family home. Some other interesting facts include how controversial this case was in the beginning. It was found to be very controversial because of the evidence. Lots of officials and police officers thought that her parents, John and Patsy Ramsey, and her brother Burke Ramsey (who was also on the spectrum) were the fault of her death, but unfortunately, it was never brought through and they were never charged.
