Topic: The Role of the Youth in the Society
General Purpose: To inform
Specific Purpose: To inform the audience about what the roles of the youth are in the society
Thesis: The youth plays an important role in both the present and future society.
I. INTRODUCTION
A. “The youth is the hope of our future.” It is a timeless quote said by our national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. Dr. Rizal did not say that out of nothing. He meant something by it in hopes that it will touch the sensibility of those who will hear it.
B. Everyone was, is, will be a part of the youth Rizal was talking about and we need to be aware of that. The elders and mid-adults were once youth. The teenagers and young adults are currently the youth. The toddlers and children

They are the future leaders.
a. We may not know but we may have already encountered or crossed paths with a future president, vice president, or senators our country.
b. One of the youth may be that one transformational leader who can change the country forever.
2. What the youth learned will be of great effect in the future.
a. If they are well-educated, they will know what they will think, they will be careful of what they say and how they act.
b. According to CHED, 2015 college graduates are in business administration and related fields (189,041), followed by those coming from education, science and teacher training (99,722), information and technology courses (84,857), medical and allied courses (75,754) and engineering and technology courses (66,005). In the near future, these people might be the best doctors and engineers, inventors of the advanced technologies by those in that field or even the most known teachers.
i. They will have the chance to change and transform the country.
a. If what they have truly learned can be applied, they can alleviate poverty and face the challenges the future will hold.
b. If they can alleviate poverty, this will result to a better economy and better citizens working together.
III.
