Teddy Roosevelt was born in 1858. He lived in New York city for his childhood. Many things made him such a great president, along with much of the things that he had accomplished. Teddy Roosevelt was president from 1901-1909. He became president after President McKinley was assassinated. Many people are inspired by him and he influenced a lot of Americans in the time that he was in office. The beginning of Theodore roosevelt and what made him good at being a president. Diverse life in the workforce, working many jobs and putting lots of hours in to become the person who he was. Being a good leader for the United States as the President representing to foreign countries. The crisis that Teddy had to overcome to make him a good president. He went to pursue public works. He went back to New York after going to Harvard and Columbia Law School. After this he was elected to the New York Assembly were he served two terms from 1882-84. He eventually left the life of politics for quite a while. Moving West to the badlands he went to be a cattle rancher, deputy sheriff, historian, naturalist, explorer, author of 35 books, police commissioner, assistant Secretary of the Navy, war hero, and lawyer. He went to fight in the Spanish-American War.
Teddy said a lot of things that made him a great leader. He believe in a lot, this helped him be a great leader and do a lot of great things for the United States in the time that they were in. He inspired the whole nation that leaders can be anyone, they aren't born they are created. Telling not just adults but teenagers, elementary kids, and a whole lot of people that you can become a leader you just have to believe in
