Angel of Death
Josef Mengele was the biggest provider to the gas chambers during the holocaust. When prisoners got to Auschwitz, he decided if who lived and who died. Mengele did tons of horrible things during his life, especially during the Holocaust, with his experiments with twins and Jews.
To begin, Mengele was born on March 16, 1911 in Gunzburg, Germany, then he went to Goethe University to study medicine. Professor Han Grebe quotes, “There was nothing in his personality to suggest that he would do what he did,” (Josef Mengele, 2017). This shows that while Mengele was studying medicine he had no intentions of doing all of his experiments. So when he went to the University of Munich were the natzis had a major influence at, they must have had a massive influence on him. So he started out just wanting to learn about medicene, but after the natzis influenced him he became the monster that he was.

When the prisoners first got to camp you lined up in a line and he decided whether you go straight to the gas chambers or if you can survive for a little while.
