The similarity and differences between Islam and Judaism clearly seem in the concept of belief or doctrine. The similarity between Islam and Judaism are both religions belief in concept of monotheism. Monotheism is the belief that there is one God alone, possessing the power to do all things. In Islam, God is perceived as the centre of faith. In addition, Muslim also believes that Allah SWT has absolute power over his creatures and no other god besides Allah SWT as mentioned in Surah Al-Baqarah verse 255: Allah! There is no god but He,-the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. Similarly, in Judaism, they believe that there is only one God; he is the creator of the universe as mentioned in Hadas 1966: 42.
