From the age of five, nothing could stop Catherine Granado from playing hockey. Her teen years weren’t easy, she got pregnant at the age of 15 by her boyfriend Trino Marin. Her parents kicked her out of their house so she went on to live with Trino. She is a San Fransisco native who specializes in indigenous peoples throughout the world. As a young woman she developed an interest in anthropology and photography before attending and graduating from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Fransisco. She was mentored throughout her youth in the techniques of Silver Gelatin, a black and white photo printing technique introduced in 1885, and Cibachrome printing, a color photo printing technique that was introduced in 1963. Kristine strives to identify the human dignity that she still believes remains in this world, by documenting the lives and cultures of more than 100 countries spreading across six different continents.

During the performance, she wore a shiny sequin dress with colorful and vibrant fabric, long dangling earrings, noticeable makeup, and a big and unique updo.
