The Bay of Pigs was an invasion that the CIA had financed which involved training a group of Cuban refugees to land in Cuba. The primary goal of the invasion was to get rid of the communist government led by Fidel Castro. The Outcome of the invasion was unexpected, and the invasion failed miserably. The plan failed due to last minute cancellations of airstrikes, and the lack of knowledge that Castro had ordered 20,000 troops in advance to go to the attack site; this resulted in having the Cuban Air Force dominating the sky, which did not allow the U.S army to fight back. As the invasion went on, the chance of the U.S winning decreased within every hour.

He informed them about what the missiles were like, what they were capable of, and the steps America and several other countries would take in retaliation to the nuclear weapons in Cuba. He asserted his feelings of confidence of the United States and his firmness of not backing down; the country would go to war if they must. His goal was to send a man to walk on the moon by the end of the decade. As we can tell, he succeeded. On May 25, 1961, he stood before Congress to deliver a special message on urgent national needs. He asked for an additional 7 billion to 9 billion dollars over the next five

A program that was ambitiously promising to give federal funding for education to those with low income, medical care to the elderly so they gotten the best treatment. Even economic aid to people who were living in the rural regions of America as well as government intervention to help halt the recession, it was a period of temporary economic decline for all trade and industrial activities for farms and factories, causing income of profit in America to reduce. Kennedy had also promised an end to racial discrimination toward colored people. He told everyone this deal in his speech at the Democratic Convention, saying that not all problems are won through, just at many problems are not solved.
Kennedy’s actions during the Cuban Missile Crisis were ingenious, well thought-out, and most importantly, worked to make the world a safer place. His oratory skills were one of his greatest traits and helped to calm the American populace and show the Soviets that the United States meant business. In addition to his speeches, Kennedy created Excomm, who worked to solve the crisis. They ended up with two potential solutions, quarantine or invasion. Kennedy chose quarantine, and it worked to lower the tensions between the two nations.
Some may say that Kennedy was the direct cause of the Cuban Missile Crisis. The assassination of J.F.Kennedy was unjust because he was an American war hero and he also helped make alliances with other countries; However some people may believe that Kennedy caused the Cuban Missile crisis. On 28 January 1961, President Kennedy was briefed, together with all the major departments, on the latest plan (code-named Operation Pluto), which involved 1,000 men landed in a ship-borne invasion at Trinidad, Cuba, about 270 km (170 mi) south-east of Havana, at the foothills of the Escambray Mountains in Sancti Spiritus province. The reason they wanted to do it that way was because Trinidad had good port facilities, it was closer to many existing counter-revolutionary activities, it had an easily defensible beachhead, and it offered an escape route into the Escambray Mountains. When that scheme was rejected by the State Department, the CIA went to propose a new plan. On 4 April 1961, President Kennedy then approved the Bay of Pigs plan, because it had an airfield that did not need extending to handle bomber operations, it was farther away from large groups of civilians than the Trinidad plan, and it was less "noisy" militarily, which would make any future denial of direct US involvement more

In an attempt to overthrow Castro and prevent the spread of communism throughout Latin America, Kennedy was forced to implement “a watered down plan inherited from the Eisenhower administration” , which involved using CIA trained Cuban rebels to encourage an anti-Castro uprising which would then appear as an internal uprising. This resulted in what historian Theodore Draper described as a “perfect failure” On April 17th 1961, 1500 rebels landed on the Bahia de Cochinos however invaders were swiftly captured or killed and as Kennedy refused to send in USA troops and cancelled a planned air strike in order to feign lack of American involvement, the plan ended in “total humiliating defeat” . Kennedy was enraged that he had signed what he had seen as an “unworkable plan” and that he had “allowed himself to be swept along by sheer bureaucratic momentum” . Despite this he took full responsibility for the failed operation stating in a news conference on March 21st 1961, that while “victory has a hundred fathers, defeat is an orphan” .
