Recently I was afforded the opportunity to become a part of the 2017 Kennesaw State University Homecoming concert planning committee. This committee is called, “KSU Live”, and is in its second year of existence. A few days ago, we had our first official meeting to start planning this years’ concert. For so many musical promoters, they have treated music as an indentured servant which made them wealthy and they refuse to give music the freedom it deserves. Music should not only be used to make one materially rich, but it should enrich the souls of all that experience it, still the music needs to be affordable for individuals to experience that enrichment.
