What were the keys causes of the American Revolution?

The American Revolution was a political upheaval that took place between 1765 and 1783 in Boston, Massachusetts. This Revolution was one of the biggest of history because it overthrew the authority of Great Britain, and founded the United States of America. After the Seven Years’ War, the British had to compensate for the expensive costs of war by taxing money on unrepresented colonists. Taxation was the most important cause of the American Revolution because the colonists stuck to the quote ’Taxation without Presentation’. For example, the Boston tea Party was an effect caused by taxation because it was an act of protest against the British for the problem with taxation. This supports the fact that taxation was the cause to many things that lead to dangerous rebellions to overthrow the British government and be declared independent from them. However, The Stamp act was the most significant because it was the first tax enacted on the colonies by Britain, therefore, raising the principle of "No taxation without representation. It was more important than the other tax acts because it immensely infuriated the colonists, motivating them to lead up to the Revolutionary war. Also, the outcome led to colonists joining forces with each other because of how the Sons of Liberty allowed colonies an easier access to communication and coordination of activities, making things easier. Undoubtedly, it was more important than the tax acts, since The British’s reaction to one of the tax acts, ‘The Stamp Act’, was only disappointment of the repeal and another tax act, ‘The Townshend acts’ to replace it. Yet, The British were much more furious with the Boston Tea Party and needed to impose a ‘punishment’. This came in the form of Intolerable Acts, which was a punishment that caused the colonists’ to be very angry, which was a very important cause, leading to the American Revolution. This evidence shows that this event caused both sides to fume up instead of only one like the Stamp act.
