The story began in Afghanistan about the friendship between Amir Jan and Hassan, they used to like playing a kite together, Amir was skillful controlling the kite and Hassan was his kite runner, He know where the kite position after fall off without seeing land. Hassan is his best friend and also the son of his father’s servant
Hassan and his father are from Hazara, the inferior race. Hassan got racial abuse from Assef the Nazi sympathies , he blame and strike Amir because he socialize with Hazara people, but Hassan protect Amir with courageously and shoot Assef with his slingshot to his eye, after the shot Assef and his partaker go and promise will do some revenge.

In Pakistan Amir meets Rahim and he told Amir about everything, Hassan already dead, he has a wife and a child named Sohrab, And Amir have face the truth that Ali is not Hassan’s father and Baba is Hassan real father, Hassan is Amir’s half brother. Rahim told Amir that the reason he called Amir to Pakistan is to rescue Sohrab, Hassan’s son.
Amir goes to Pakistan with Farid as a driver an guide, Amir back when Afghanistan controlled by Taliban. They went Orphanage to find Sohrab, but the Orphanage keeper said Sohrab has taken by Taliban, and he suggested Amir to attend football match at the stadium to meet the Sohrab taker. In the stadium they met the Taliban Official and make an appointment at the official house.
At the Taliban house Amir meets the Taliban official who are his enemy on his childhood,Assef. He call Sohrab and come with dance dress. Amir said he will take Sohrab and adopt him, and carry him to California. Assef agree if Amir can beat Assef, the fight until die and Sohrab is the prize. Assef attack Amir brutally and suddenly Sohrab shot Assef with a slingshot and shoot Assef left eye. And Amir carry Sohrab to go back to Pakistan.
