Kick-Ass, directed by Matthew Vaughn, is a 2010 comedy film about Dave Lizewski wanting to reinvent himself as a superhero. He buys a costume and takes on the name Kick-Ass, a crime fighter despite having no special abilities. He quickly realizes fighting crime is a lot harder than he expected. When Kick-Ass is filmed defending a man from gangsters, he was quickly recognized as a hero and his popularity sky rocketed, catching the attention of Hit-Girl and Big Daddy. Hit-Girl is a trained assassin from a young age by Big Daddy. Hit-Girl is eleven-years-old can take down 20 men in a row if she’s pissed off enough. Watching the scene the initial shock of her being shot was eye opening. Then, she got up and pulled the bullet it out of her vest as though it was a little splinter in your palm. There are movie scenes of men wearing a bullet proof vest and they get shoot. They fall on the ground wincing. However, Mindy stood up and Big Daddy announced they are going to try two more times. Remarkably Mindy not only agreed, she made a deal with Big Daddy to go bowling and sundaes afterwards. In fact, when Big Daddy and Kick Ass were kidnapped, Hit Girl did not coward or run to find help. She gathered herself and went straight to finding where Big Daddy was. When she got to the location, she turns off the lights and fights all the ten plus kidnappers herself. Big Daddy unfortunately dies but Hit Girl grabs Kick-Ass and steals Red Mist’s car. Hit Girl did not do the expected of breaking down and ultimately giving up. She knows she can take care of herself, when she heard Kick-Ass try to contradict her by asking how she's going to manage that for the future, she bluntly saids “I have three million dollars, is that future enough?” Hit Girl amazes viewers with her irrepressible drive, she returns home to continue Big Daddy’s plan to get revenge. The final confrontation, at Frank D’Amico’s home. Hit-Girl goes alone and she is faced with twenty plus men. She doesn't give up, she takes her weapons and uses her skills that were taught to her by Big Daddy to push them back. At one point Hit-Girl is hiding behind the island in the kitchen. The men thought she was trapped and ready to surrender. They slowly approach her, as a reflex Hit-Girl grabs knives off the counter and employs it to kill another one of Frank’s men by flinging a few at him. Frightening the other men
