Did you know that killer whales are the most disturbed mammals in the world (not counting humans)? Humans always postulate that killer whales like doing shows, actually some of them don’t. Even in the wild, killer whales are harmed, for example, people on cruises throw trash and food into the water if they see killer whales. There has been a big debate for many years about the topic of killer whales in captivity. However, since Blackfish aired in 2013, there has been an even bigger controversy about whether or not killer whales should be kept in captivity. I think killer whales should not be kept in captivity because when killer whales are kept in captivity they live an average of 13 years whereas in the wild they live around six times as long.
