The person I am doing my character sketch on is one of my best friends Preston Alberto Santanna Riff. Preston is fifteen years old , but his mind is well ahead of his time and can be seen with his response to intellectual conversation that associate philosophy, knowledge, human characteristics and actions. Preston has hair that softly lays on his oval shaped head. His hair is as black as night when no moon is out. His hair is as curly as a tangled jungle of vines in the rain forest.
Hyeonseo Lee North Korean Defector Change, hope, and justice, are all things North Korean defectors, including Human Rights activist Hyeonseo Lee, wish for in the harshly governed country of North Korea. Many people know about the story of Hyeonseo’s escape from the unethical dictatorship of the Kims. But she was so much more. As a Human Rights activist fighting for a change of the corrupt and cruel system of government in North Korea, she is trying her best to inform people of how terrible and a dire situation it is in North Korea. Through this, she is showing her defiance publicly towards North Korea, when just a little over a decade before, she was expressing absolute loyalty and respect towards the Kims.
How would you feel if you couldn’t ever have an opinion? You could never talk about how you felt about the government, you could never talk about natural disasters or the outside world? You can never protest the government, or even have an opinion on what they do. Well, this is the story of the lives of people in North Korea. This is how they live.

The title of this cartoon is Obamacare Death Spiral. This cartoon is attempting to illustrate the argument that Obamacare is causing insurance companies to slash coverage, resulting in American patients not being able to afford the medical care that they need to live quality lives. In this cartoon, a man is visiting his doctor, who turns out to be Death. The man’s shirt says Obamacare, which helps to illustrate the irony of him supporting something that is causing him so much difficulty. He asks the “doctor” to give him his news, and, rather than reading a medical chart, the “doctor” is reading a chart showing Aetna’s, a major insurance company, plans for cuts.
While doing her client's hair, she is so involved in her obsessiveness that she is envisioning him there. She envisioned herself giving him a haircut. She is visualizing him staring back at her in the mirror with them locking eyes (171). “I wait until your truck has pulled away to sweep up the short brown hairs. I can't throw them away, so I tilt the contents of the dustpan into one of the nice creamy envelopes” (171).
The news takes a story and use their creativity to word the story in such a way, that anyone can be seen as the bad person. To take a small situation and manipulate it into some enormous problem that needs to be addressed is something that happens all too often on social media and news sources. Trump and Kim Jong-un are two people that the media loves to discuss about. When the North Korean Supreme Leader had talked about a nuke in their possession that can potentially reach Hawaii, Trump backlashed by talking about the nukes and rockets the United States that can be launched. A cartoon illustrated by The Federalist Papers, shows president Trump facing off with Kim Jong-un with a bunch of war-heads facing Kim.
