Medieval times are known for their brave Knights , fair maidens and mythical creatures.
Thier Knights are the bravest of the brave,the strongest of the strong , they show the most chivalry , their all honest men. Monty Python is a prime example of that there can be a thin line between reality and fantasy like with King Arthur and his coconuts.If you love knights feelings your feelings might be a little hurt about it. the satire and mockery in this movie is tremendous.
Most if not all of your normal expectations of knights are set in complete awe by how opposite in shown in Monty Python. The “brave Knights” were not so brave. It shows you exactly opposites and just silly things the Knights didn't do. Like King Arthur’s coconuts. when he gets to the castle of “ argggghh” he is questioned on why he has no horse but a servant traveling behind him clanking two coconut together making horse noises while King Arthur acts as if he is on a horse. This makes no sense why not just get a horse instead of acting as if you really have one. The Knights are not intelligent, they're not strong nor brave. An example of lack of intelligence is when they build a wooden bunny to send into the french castle like the Greeks did which is also satire. During the attempt to get into the French castle a historian was telling us of the arthurians an unknown knight came and killed him, this resulted in the police being called and for an investigation. throughout the movie it shows like the witness and it was the historian's wife and it shows them looking for whoever killed him.
