Konnor's Short Story: Another Day At Home

Have you had a loved one that worried you sick? It was a another day at school, and Konnor can’t wait till the bell rings to go home. Today Konnor is going to go play some basketball at the lower lake in Eureka, IL. He is going to go with his older sibling Kaleb, and his cousin Austin. The basketball hoops are a little rusty and old, but the hoops are still adequate to play and shoot into. It was a long day of hard work at school, but Konnor got through it! “RING!” the school bell went off, which alarmed Konnor and he got up from his seat and dashed out the door and onto the buses. Konnor is the fifth stop on the bus, but the ride only takes around ten minutes. The bus trekked all the way to his house, then he got off and ran inside,

Kaleb went to go to lounge in his own room. Konnor’s other brother Kolten and his girlfriend were downstairs in the basement. Mike Merritt, which is Konnor’s father, was in the kitchen, situated on a stool, and also Konnor’s mother was downstairs too. Bang! Konnor had no idea what happened, and scampered to the kitchen to see what the noise was. It was his father on the floor, pale white as a sheep, and then everybody else came in. “What happened?, he looks white as a sheep!”, said Konnor. “Hurry up and call 911!”, Kaleb exclaimed. Konnor gets the phone and dialing 911 as quickly as he could. Slowly beeping as Konnor was waiting for them to pick up. “Come on hurry up!”Konnor thought, and then the question, “what is your emergency came up”. “Here is the phone mom, hurry up!”, Konnor said, his mother got the phone and told the people the emergency. “Hey what 's in the world is happening!” Konnor’s father said, confused, Kaleb said,” He’s Alive!”. Shirens were neighboring and maneuvered in the driveway and came rushing in. Putting Mr. Merritt on a stretcher and rolling i 'm out to the ambulance. Mike had know idea what was going on since he had been unconscious,”what are you guys in my house, what is going on here?”, questioned Mike Merritt. “You are going to be fine sir and don’t worry”, said one of the paramedics. Finally getting him in the ambulance the white and red vehicle blaring its sirens drove off with Mike

Telling Mike that he had a concussion for sure from the falling, and that his heart rate went down so his blood pressure went up, so he fainted. Mike said that he had this problem when he was younger. The doctor said he was fine to go, but he must rest and stay away from screens like his phone. Resting for weeks, he steadily recovered from the injuries that he suffered from. After he fully recovered, he is supposed to take these pills to keep his blood pressure down. Konnor’s family seemed normal again, and Mr. Merritt hasn’t had a problem
