In this large group of amazing musicians there are a few that I believe rise above the rest. Not only on the influence they had on music but on the influence they have on people 's lives still today. There is a lot of people in the music industry, and it takes a lot to stand out in the crowd of music. Music takes a lot of work, Your life could be made by a single song or it could be made of a whole career of lifetime of releases.
Making music can work right away but you can 't be stopped by setbacks,minor or major, and this is my reason for the first person i believe to be one of the most influential musicians of all time, Kurt Cobain. Next is a man that had an amazing way of expressing himself and telling a story with the use of a guitar. He was only known for four years, but during these four years he had the nation captivated. This man is Jimi Hendrix. Jimi hendrix started playing guitar when he was four and never stopped until he passed at the young age of 27, and he was amazing. His music is still intimidating to most guitar players today, because of the way he played it and the sounds he could make with a guitar. He played the national anthem at the woodstock music festival in 1969, and no matter how many times I have heard it it gives me goosebumps every single time because he did it completely freestyle and NOBODY will ever be able to play it the same again
Lastly the incredible woman I am going to be talking about has one of the most heartstopping voices of all time. One of her high notes will stun you and may even leave you breathless. This woman is Janis Joplin. The way she connects with her music is incredible. I am at a loss of words to describe the way she can make you feel with the music she makes and I believe that there will never be anyone who can match what she can
