Sometimes one person you most appreciate and love turns out to be the person who changes your life. The power of manipulation always leads to consequences. Sometimes it is used in everyday life. As Shakespeare defines it “ the concept of taking advantage of someone through manipulation leads to unnecessary, horrible events”. Lady Macbeth is responsible for the tragic outcomes of William Shakespeare's play, "Macbeth", as she demonstrates great ambition, manipulates Macbeth, and deceives those around her. In the play, there is evidence and proof of Lady Macbeth's intentions toward Macbeth. To make Macbeth do something he is unwilling to do, Lady Macbeth has employed a variety of tactics. She is the puppet master of Macbeth. Ambitions and deceit are what drive the play and lead to Macbeth's downfall. Because of this, Macbeth has evolved, and as he keeps killing people to maintain his position of power, his deeds grow less brave and more cowardly. She perceives an opportunity to take advantage of this knowledge right away and starts to deceive Macbeth into thinking he must kill King Duncan to succeed him as king. The process of this plan was for Macbeth and his wife, Lady Macbeth to drug everyone, then for Macbeth to go and kill King Duncan. When The deed was done there was regret and guilt behind it. Macbeth's reaction and response were ruthless, his desire to maintain his position as king entwined with his paranoia. Lady Macbeth does all this because of her greed and power she is informed that she can control Macbeth. And her becoming the queen will show she has more power over Macbeth.
