I really liked this book because it’s set during the Middle Age in Ireland and briefly in England. This era is really interesting because of their superstitions, fashion, their everyday life, and the feudal system which makes this book really interesting because it no longer exists in today’s world and it gives a small, brief glance to the past even though a lot of it might be fiction.
Enter Three Witches: A story of Macbeth is about Lady Mary, who is 14 and daughter of Lord Cawdor, who is ward to the Macbeths and she is to be taught by Lady Macbeth how to run a castle because she is betrothed to soon-to-be-Sir Asleif, but Lady Macbeth sets her aside and doesn’t teach Lady Mary anything because she is a selfish, and greedy person.
King Duncan declares war to Norway and to Sir Macdonwald for treason and the fight will be fought near Inverness castle, the fight lasts about a day, in which Asleif is killed by the hands of Seyton, Lord Macbeth’s squire. …show more content…

Lady Mary is distraught, and fears for her fate since it now lies in the Macbeth's hands. Lord Cawdor is hung the day the feast for the king is given at Inverness Castle. Also, King Duncan names his heir to the throne, who is to be Prince Malcolm, and gave Lord Macbeth Sir Macdonwald’s lands to him. Later that day during the night King Duncan is murdered in the room that was given to him that night which was the Macbeth’s bedroom. King Duncan was murdered by Lord Macbeth because earlier that day three witches had prophesied that Lord Macbeth would be king so Lord Macbeth decided to make the prophecy
