Character Transformation Of Lady Macbeth throughout the play Lady Macbeth has always been ambitious and thirsty for power.
In the beginning of the play she is seen to be a strong and confident woman. She was ruthless and manipulated her husband Macbeth a lot. She was also known as a warrior hero, she was strong. In the middle of the play Lady Macbeth understands that her husband doesn't have what it takes to murder the king, so she manipulates him and takes control of things when Macbeth loses his mind. She tells Macbeth ‘Tis the eye of childhood, That fears a painted devil’. Which she is basically calling him a coward and saying he's acting like a child and to grow up.Lady macbeth then helped macbeth through his grief, but she didn't quite help herself. She pushed everything away and ignored it. Until the end of the play when she starts sleepwalking and saying
