Australian shepherd- the Australian shepherd originated in the United States in the 1700 's and not Australia as most people may think. This dog was bread for herding sheep. This dog came from a part of the Pyrenees mountains and were bread by the Basque shepherds who came over from Australia in the 1800 's whichever is where the dog gets its name. This idea is brought about due to their past history of being involved in dog fights and dog attacks.
Pit bulls are thought to be vicious dogs by nature. These animals have been tested by the American Temperament Testing Association and were proved to have a better temper than golden retrievers, Labradors, and poodles. The same association proved that these animals do not have an inherent behavior to be violent toward humans. The size of the human does not matter either. Any dog will nip at a child pulling the dogs tail, but pit bulls will not attack by their nature.
They can make friends with anyone and simply love to cuddle up with a close friend and fall asleep. The size of these dogs cannot be underestimated. An Irish Wolfhound can stand up on its hind legs and easily reach the height of a full-grown man. This enormous size is enough to put some people off the breed, but Irish Wolfhounds present no threat to their friends and owners whatsoever.
When it comes to training your puppy, there are a few tips to keep in mind to help guide you through the process. By following a few key points, you can maintain consistent training and avoid letting things get ruff. However, the wolf’s message is more alluring than the forewarnings of the sheepdog.
They will naturally be protective of their beloved owners, but since they are like people so much they do not make good guard dogs unless you want them to lick the intruder to death.
